Your information and connections
How family accounts and junior learning reports work on RuleReady.
Your junior account
We store your login, first name, age group and quiz answers so you can sign in and see your progress. You do not need to give us your date of birth or an email address for a new junior account. If you are under 13, connect your parent or carer before taking a quiz.
Who can see your results?
You can see your own results. A parent or carer can see them after a family connection is approved. Connected parents can also reset a junior password. Family connections, inside My account, shows these connections and lets you remove them.
When you or your parent use a club invitation code, the club’s authorised junior administrators can see quizzes taken after you joined. This helps them plan coaching. Leaving the club removes their access to your report, while your family keeps its connection and you keep your saved quizzes.
Sharing one quiz with a coach
A junior can ask their connected parent to share a result. The request appears in the parent’s family dashboard; it does not send an email. The parent chooses whether to create a link and who to send it to. The shared page contains one quiz’s score, date, format, pictures, answers and practice ideas. It does not show the child’s name, username, contact details, family information or other quizzes.
Anyone who has the link can view that result for 30 days. Parents can switch off their links at any time. Removing the parent’s connection also stops their shared links from working. Shared pages ask search engines not to index them. If you send a link, choose the recipient carefully.
Comparisons are optional
Anonymous age-group comparisons are off by default. Enabling them lets your results contribute to averages alongside other participating learners. We never show a named leaderboard to other families. At least ten other learners with comparable quizzes are needed. The comparison is with RuleReady participants, not all junior golfers nationally. A parent must enable comparisons for an under-13.
AI teaching activities and practice ideas
Quiz results can include AI-assisted practice ideas for rules to revisit. Parents and coaches can also request an AI-suggested activity for a rule. We send OpenAI the published question and rule explanation only. We do not send your name, age, club, scores or answers. Suggestions are shared lesson material and should be checked against the rule explanation.
Subscriptions and signing in
Parents manage family payments through Stripe. Children use a separate login. We use an essential sign-in cookie to keep your account signed in. Removing a family or club connection stops report access; it does not delete the learner’s saved quizzes.
Your club’s appearance
Approved club administrators can add their club logo, colours and a welcome message. We store these with the club’s account. Your quizzes and results can use that club identity, including a result your parent chooses to share. A shared result still does not show your name. If you choose which club you are practising with, an essential preference cookie remembers that choice for 90 days. Your club choice does not change who can see your results.
